AMINA Bank Integrates Mesh to Streamline Crypto Payments

Switzerland-based AMINA Bank has become the first regulated digital assets lender to integrate the Mesh payments network. This move allows clients to verify wallet ownership and deposit stablecoins directly into their banking accounts, bypassing the manual, multi-step authentication processes that have long hampered institutional crypto transactions.

The integration aims to capture the surging utility of stablecoins, which saw real-world payment volumes climb to $400 billion in 2025 according to data from Bessemer Venture Partners. With 60 percent of this volume driven by business-to-business flows—including cross-border settlements and corporate treasury management—the bank is positioning itself to bridge the gap between traditional banking infrastructure and decentralized finance.

Myles Harrison, chief product officer at AMINA, noted that moving assets between platforms has historically been inefficient, requiring external wallet-signing and cumbersome verification. By embedding Mesh, AMINA allows users to link existing exchange accounts and wallets within a regulated Swiss environment, achieving a user experience comparable to standard fiat banking. The bank plans to expand these capabilities later this year, specifically targeting the automation of wallet verification during the client onboarding process. Headquartered in Zug, AMINA has steadily expanded its regulatory footprint, securing licenses in Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, and most recently in Austria under the EU’s MiCAR framework.
