Jack Dorsey launches Buzz to integrate AI agents into team workflows

Buzz functions as a model-agnostic workspace where teams can manage projects and interact with AI agents from a single interface. By providing full access to the source code, the platform allows developers to build and deploy custom features tailored to specific team requirements. This self-sovereign approach contrasts with traditional enterprise software, offering teams greater control over their technical infrastructure and security.

The project arrives amid a broader shift toward AI-native collaboration tools. Competitors like Centaur, developed by Paradigm CTO Georgios Konstantopoulos, are also emerging to address the limitations of existing platforms by acting as virtual employees within established environments. While Buzz offers a functional alternative for newer startups, the company notes that the product remains in its early stages of development. The free desktop application is currently available for macOS, Windows, and Linux, with the underlying code hosted on GitHub for public review.
