The bank reported a 12 percent revenue increase, offsetting a rise in operating costs to €7.986 billion. Wealth management proved a primary engine for growth, contributing to a broader surge in assets under management. Total assets across the group reached €2.59 trillion, marking an 85.2 percent increase year-on-year, largely bolstered by the consolidation of AXA IM. Wealth management alone accounted for €543.4 billion of this total, or 21 percent of the group's assets.

Financial health remains robust, with the Common Equity Tier 1 ratio reaching 13.0 percent by June 30, significantly exceeding the 10.43 percent regulatory threshold. Following this performance, the board declared an interim dividend of €3.23 per share for the first half of 2026. Looking toward long-term targets, management anticipates a return on tangible equity of 12 percent for the current year, with projections to exceed 13 percent by 2028 as the cost-to-income ratio trends toward 56 percent.
