Prime members can now navigate to a dedicated “Games” tab within the Prime Video interface to launch titles using a standard controller or a smartphone. The initial library includes major releases like Hogwarts Legacy, EA Sports FC 26, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, alongside party-focused games such as Taboo and Clue. Amazon is also incorporating internal titles developed by its gaming division, including Courtroom Chaos and the card battler Masters of the Universe: Legends Unite.
Amazon Integrates Luna Cloud Gaming Into Prime Video
Amazon is merging its Luna cloud gaming service directly into Prime Video, allowing subscribers to access interactive titles alongside movies and television shows. The integration, which launches today on Fire TVs in the U.S. and U.K., aims to position the platform as a centralized hub for all home entertainment.
This shift mirrors a broader industry trend toward consolidating digital media, similar to Netflix’s recent expansion into party games. By removing the requirement for standalone apps or expensive hardware like consoles and dedicated gaming PCs, Amazon intends to lower the barrier to entry for casual players. Jeff Gattis, general manager of gaming at Amazon, noted that the move simplifies discovery, allowing users to transition from browsing to playing without searching through external storefronts. The company committed to expanding the library with monthly additions and plans to roll out the service to more devices and regions in the near future.
