Leadership Shifts Across De Lisle, Cypher Capital and Schellenberg Wittmer

Strategic appointments are reshaping high-level operations at three distinct firms, signaling a push for institutional rigor. From the promotion of internal talent at De Lisle Partners to a new chief executive at Cypher Capital and a senior partnership at law firm Schellenberg Wittmer, these moves reflect evolving priorities in global wealth management.

De Lisle Partners, the UK-based specialist in US small-cap equities, has promoted Dan Scott Lintott to assistant fund manager. Having joined the firm in May 2024, Lintott will continue supporting chief investment officer Richard de Lisle with portfolio management and equity trade execution. The boutique also added Phil Coombes as an investment analyst; Coombes arrives with five years of experience from HC Andersen Capital to bolster the firm’s research capabilities.

In Dubai, Cypher Capital has tapped Arash Saidi as its new chief executive officer. Saidi, who previously served as the firm’s general partner and chief legal officer, brings two decades of experience across the Middle East, Europe, and Australia. Founder Bijan Alizadeh noted that Saidi’s leadership is intended to guide the firm’s transition from a digital asset specialist to a broader multi-asset platform capable of attracting institutional capital. Saidi’s background includes senior legal roles at GFH Financial Group and M2.

Meanwhile, in Geneva, law firm Schellenberg Wittmer has expanded its tax group by appointing Nicolas Candaux as a partner. Candaux brings over 15 years of expertise in cross-border tax law, focusing on estate planning, succession, and relocation for ultra-high-net-worth clients. His arrival is expected to enhance the firm’s advisory reach regarding complex tax disputes and corporate reorganizations.
