Berry Street and Healthify Merge to Target GLP-1 Metabolic Care

Over 30 million Americans are projected to be on GLP-1 weight-loss medications by 2030, a shift prompting U.S. nutrition startup Berry Street to merge with India’s Healthify. The deal aims to combine AI-driven coaching with a nationwide clinical network to capture the rapidly expanding market for metabolic health management.

Noah Kotlove and Tushar Vashisht will lead the combined entity as co-CEOs, maintaining the Berry Street brand in the United States while retaining the Healthify name in international markets. The merger unites two distinct operational strengths: Healthify’s massive user base—claiming over 45 million customers and $150 million in venture funding—and Berry Street’s established infrastructure, which includes a network of 2,000 clinics and insurance-backed care programs.

Berry Street, which secured $50 million in funding last year from investors including Northzone and FJ Labs, brings significant integration experience through its existing collaborations with platforms like Amazon and Walmart. Vinod Khosla, whose firm Khosla Ventures backs Healthify, described the partnership as a strategy to redefine metabolic care by pairing automated nutrition tracking with human clinical oversight. The companies did not disclose financial terms of the agreement.
