The deal consolidates the firm's local operations, which already include North Financial Management, pushing regional assets under advice past the £350 million mark. This expansion aligns with a broader UK strategy directed by the firm’s owner, an affiliate of the 7IM Group. Lync currently operates 22 offices with 120 advisors managing a total of £4 billion in assets globally.
Lync Wealth Management Expands Northern Ireland Footprint
Belfast’s financial landscape is shifting as Lync Wealth Management acquires Carleton Financial Planning and RJ Savage Asset Management. These dual acquisitions inject approximately £300 million in assets under advice into the firm’s regional portfolio, signaling an aggressive push to establish a dominant wealth management hub across Northern Ireland.

John Bamber MBE of Carleton Financial described the merger as a strategic move to pool resources and expertise while maintaining personal service standards. The firm has set a clear growth target: to manage over £1 billion in client assets within Northern Ireland. To reach this, Lync plans to leverage organic growth, advisor recruitment, and additional acquisitions. Beltrae Partners and Mills Selig provided advisory services for the Carleton Financial transaction.
