The redesign simplifies navigation by housing Claude Design, the prototype and website creation tool, alongside standard chat capabilities. Previously, customers frequently struggled to identify which tab or environment best suited specific tasks. This update removes that manual selection process, letting the system manage the underlying architecture based on user input.
Beyond interface consolidation, the company is introducing dedicated document and presentation modules. Users can now command Claude to generate, edit, and export slide decks as PDFs or PowerPoint files. Similarly, the new Docs feature enables collaborative work, allowing users to comment on specific sections, ask targeted questions, and edit content across desktop and mobile devices. A user might initiate a complex document on a workstation and track its development or make adjustments while on the go via the mobile app.
