Eight Sleep Debuts Pod 6 With Solo Options and Faster Cooling
Priced at $1,999, the new Pod 6 from Eight Sleep introduces solo configurations and a 50% smaller footprint designed to accommodate a wider variety of bed frames. The device promises 20% faster temperature adjustments and utilizes nine times more sensors to isolate user data from pets or children sharing the bed.
International sales now account for more than 30% of total revenue, according to CEO Matteo Franceschetti. As the company integrates more AI-driven features, it faces the challenge of a tightening supply chain for high-end electronics. Franceschetti noted that competition for components from AI firms is forcing a reconfiguration of their supply chain to maintain production capacity for their increasingly compute-heavy sleep systems.
