Matt Ralph Named CEO of Manchester Investment Firm Castlefield
Manchester-based investment specialist Castlefield has appointed Matt Ralph as its new chief executive officer, effective immediately. Ralph, who previously served as the firm’s head of client management, succeeds founder John Eckersley, who remains with the employee-owned company in the role of non-executive chair.
Alongside this appointment, the firm has overhauled its senior management team, promoting several internal leaders to new executive titles. Rupert Lovesy has been named chief client officer, while Mark Elliott steps into the role of chief investment officer. The expanded leadership group also includes Kathryn Holland as chief financial officer, Ita McMahon as chief stewardship officer, Ewelina N Wilson as chief of staff, Sarah Hanlon as chief compliance and risk officer, and Summayya Mosam as chief information officer. Further internal changes include the promotion of Bronwyn Riley to partner, as well as new leadership roles for Tom McCoy and Simon Holman, who will head financial planning and client portfolio services, respectively.
