The transaction concludes an agreement initiated last year, involving the conversion of over 20.5 million warrants. UBS paid the remaining 75 percent of the exercise price to finalize the stake, building on a broader partnership established in April. This collaboration creates a reciprocal arrangement: UBS will transition its onshore Indian wealth operations to 360 ONE, while the Indian firm’s Singapore-based clients will shift to UBS’s local platform.
UBS Secures Stake in India’s 360 ONE WAM
4.8 percent of 360 ONE WAM now belongs to UBS, marking the final stage of a strategic investment that began last July. By converting warrants into shares, the Swiss banking giant has deepened its footprint in India, signaling a long-term commitment to the country’s rapidly expanding wealth management sector.

This move highlights the intensifying competition among international financial institutions to capture the surging wealth of India’s affluent middle class. With 360 ONE managing approximately $95 billion in assets, the partnership offers both firms expanded access to onshore and offshore investment solutions. UBS joins a growing roster of global players, including HSBC, LGT, and Standard Chartered, that have aggressively increased their exposure to the Indian market despite recent volatility in local equity valuations.
