Executive Appointments Across Vistra, TrinityBridge and Quoniam

A fresh wave of leadership changes is reshaping wealth management firms across Europe, with Vistra Fund Solutions, TrinityBridge and Quoniam announcing key executive appointments. These strategic moves involve high-level shifts in fund administration, bespoke investment management and operational oversight as firms bolster their teams for long-term growth.

Vistra Fund Solutions has named Andrew O’Shea as EVP and head of VFS Europe. Based in Ireland, O’Shea joins the leadership team to oversee European operations, drawing on his previous tenure as global head of fund services at TMF Group and senior roles at Intertrust. Abdel Hmitti, president of Vistra Fund Solutions, noted that O’Shea’s track record in building high-performing teams will be critical for the firm's regional expansion.

At TrinityBridge, the UK asset manager has promoted Peter Horton to managing director, alongside the new hires of Robert Nye and Alex Lennard. Nye, formerly of Cazenove Capital, and Lennard, who spent nearly two decades at Ruffer, will operate from the firm’s London headquarters. These additions follow the appointment of Tom Miller as head of investment management earlier this year. Miller emphasized that the new leadership aims to strengthen the company’s bespoke investment offerings.

Meanwhile, Quoniam is preparing for a transition in its C-suite. Oliver Schulte will become chief operations officer on January 1, 2027, succeeding Silke Weiser-Walther, a veteran who has been with the firm since its inception 27 years ago. Schulte, currently CEO of Deutsche Bank’s payments subsidiary Pagateq, brings over 25 years of experience in financial services and asset management. Nigel Cresswell, CEO of Quoniam, highlighted Schulte’s expertise in managing complex regulatory requirements and transforming operational platforms as pivotal for the firm's future strategic development.
