Britain Transfers Stone Cloak Warfare Technology to Ukraine
At the Portsmouth Naval Base, British Prime Minister Andy Burnham and President Volodymyr Zelensky solidified a new defense partnership on July 27, marking the first time the new UK leader has hosted a foreign head of state since taking office just one week ago.
Beyond technical cooperation, the leaders visited 200 Ukrainian military personnel currently training in British maritime security and counter-mine operations. The visit arrives as the conflict intensifies on both sides; Zelensky confirmed long-range Ukrainian strikes against Russian oil facilities in the Yaroslavl and Udmurtia regions, while Russian air strikes caused civilian casualties in Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Zaporizhzhya. Following the Portsmouth talks, Zelensky is scheduled to depart for Washington to meet with President Donald Trump and attend the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham.
