Encore AI Secures $30 Million to Automate Customer Interaction

By parsing years of successful sales calls and support transcripts, Encore AI is building autonomous agents that mimic the exact tactics of high-performing employees. The startup, led by CEO Dvir Ginzburg, secured $30 million in a Series A round to scale this "interaction mining" technology across global financial institutions.

Founded in 2022 as Insait IO, the company pivoted from recommendation software for financial advisers to a platform that ingests call recordings, emails, and CRM data. By identifying which specific phrases or anecdotes lead to closed deals, the system constructs AI agents capable of deploying those same successful playbooks in real-time. These agents can operate as either autonomous representatives or as live assistants prompting staff during active conversations.

Encore AI currently serves over 40 enterprise clients, primarily within the finance and insurance sectors. Ginzburg reports that the company’s annual recurring revenue has quintupled since its seed round 18 months ago. While major CRM providers like Salesforce or HubSpot possess vast amounts of customer data, Ginzburg argues that their technical infrastructure is not built to treat conversational history as a primary training foundation, giving the startup a distinct competitive edge.

With the new funding led by Team8, the company intends to aggressively expand its U.S. sales operations. The round also saw participation from Planven, Lukatz, and Garage, alongside several existing institutional customers who moved from product users to financial backers.
