DBS Hits Record Profit as Wealth Assets Cross S$500 Billion
Assets under management in the wealth segment at Singapore’s DBS Group have surged past the S$500 billion milestone for the first time. This expansion helped the bank post a record net profit of S$3.08 billion for the second quarter of 2026, marking a 9 per cent increase from the previous year.
CEO Tan Su Shan credited the bank’s robust first-half performance to the sustained momentum of its wealth management arm. Treasury customer sales also hit a record high, underscoring the success of the bank's strategy to diversify revenue streams in a volatile rate environment.
