Middle East Fuel Oil Exports Surge to Four-Month High
Middle Eastern fuel oil exports are projected to hit a four-month peak this June, climbing 20% to reach 508,000 barrels per day. This rebound follows a strategic shift by Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Oman to reroute shipments through ports outside the volatile Persian Gulf, bypassing traditional maritime bottlenecks.
